Wulingyan scenic spot wins ‘National Water Park’

The Wulingyan water conservancy scenic spot in Wuning county was awarded "National Water Park" by the Ministry of Water Resources.

Located in Yangzhou township, it covers an area of 46 square kilometers with 76 percent forest coverage. It has a strong reception capacity and various tourism attractions including mountain tours, resorts and agri-tourism. It received 142,800 visitors in 2011 and is expected to become a national 3A scenic spot.
