The Jiangxi Provincial Price Bureau will reduce ticket prices for scenic spots during Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day after receiving approval by the Jiangxi provincial government. The price reduction is a move to celebrate the holidays, promote tourism and expand domestic demand.

Scenic spots reduce ticket prices during Golden Week

From Sept 30 to Oct 7, all tourist destinations in the province with government-guided or government-fixed ticket prices will reduce their current ticket price by various amounts. For scenic spots whose current ticket price is below 50 yuan ($7.93) per person, 35 percent of the ticket price will be reduced. For those with ticket prices from 50 yuan ($7.93) to 100 yuan ($15.86), the reduction will be 30 percent. For those whose ticket price is between 100 yuan ($15.86) and 200 yuan ($31.73), reductions will be 25 percent. For scenic areas with ticket prices over 200 yuan ($31.73), prices will drop by 15 percent. If the current ticket price is under 10 yuan ($1.59) per person, entrance will be free of charge to visitors.
