Liangzi Lake ecotourism press conference opens in Nanchang

A Liangzi Lake ecotourism press conference announcing the 13th Liangzi Lake Fish-Catching Festival was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province on Aug 27. Wang Jiming, vice-mayor of Ezhou city, Hubei province, and Zhang Genshui, vice-mayor of Nanchang, attended the meeting.

The fish-catching festival at Liangzi Lake is a well-known tourist attraction in the city of Ezhou and runs for two weeks from Sept 24 to Oct 8. The festival will consist of nine segments: the 2012 Ezhou Golf Invitational Tournament, the 2012 Liangzi Lake Outdoor Tourism Festival, an opening ceremony, a Liangzi Lake tourism investment conference, an evening party for the 13th Liangzi Lake Tourist Festival, a Liangzi Lake photography competition, a cooking contest, a Liangzi Island beer carnival, and the third Liangzi Lake Folk Culture and Tourism Exposition and Green Food Fair.

A strategic tourism cooperation agreement was signed between the Liangzi Island ecological tourist area and local travel agencies at the meeting.
