Wuning enters tourism peak season

Wuning county has entered the tourism peak season as temperatures rise in the hot summer days. With rich landscapes, Wuning has greeted a growing number of tourists.

As an ecological demonstration region in China, Wuning county has beautiful sceneries with a forest coverage rate reaching 71.2 percent. Over 82 percent of the water area of Lushan-Xihai, the largest artificial lake in Jiangxi province, is located in Wuning. In recent years, Wuning has been taking advantage of its landscape resources to promote its tourism industry, developing over 70 tourism projects including an ecological farm, a hunting center, a karst cave and a lake view island. The gorgeous sceneries and the cool and refreshing tourist projects have attracted large numbers of tourists every year during the May to October period.

In preparation for the tourism peak season this year, Wuning county has enhanced its infrastructure and strengthened management and service in the scenic spots. In addition, the county also increased the publicity of the county. The scenic spots in Wuning have received a total of over 300,000 tourists since this May, according to incomplete statistics.
