791Art Zone to be built in Nanchang

The 791 cultural and art zone will officially open to the public in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, on July 9. The zone is an integrated cultural and art district covering artistic research, creation, contest, as well as artwork exhibition and sales, initially planned since Sept 2011.

The zone will cover a building area of more than 40,000 square meters, with a total investment of 500 million yuan ($78.55 million). 68 artistic organizations and over 50 national and provincial artists have settled down in the modern art zone.
