Houde International Hotel foundation-laying ceremony held in Yifeng

A foundation-laying ceremony for the Houde International Hotel was held in Yifeng, Jiangxi province on Jun 21, 2012.

The Houde International Hotel is built as a four-star hotel with a floor space of 26,460 square meters. Its gross building area amounts to 58,256.5 m2 including 22,100 m2 of hotel and 36,156.5 m2 of commercial buildings and housings. Green coverage of the project will reach up to 29 percent. The 87-meter-tall hotel has 22 floors with an investment of 150 million yuan ($23.57 million).

Yifeng is known as the home of bamboo, kiwi fruit and the Elliot's Pheasant in China. In recent years, with the improvement of scenic spots, the number of tourists has increased and the hotel and lodging industry is thriving. The opening of the Wuji highway and Changtong highway will also promote the development of Yifeng.
