The Tourism Investment and Financing Cooperation Fair of the 7th EXPO Central China was held in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province on May 19. Eleven tourism projects in Jiangxi province with a total investment of about 270 million yuan ($42.61 million) have been signed at the fair.

The day also marked the launching of the China Tourism Day themed activities that will be held in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

This is the first time that a tourism investment and financing cooperation fair has been held at the EXPO Central China. During the fair, as many as 74 tourism investment projects were promoted with emphasis on over 700 financing tourism projects. The total contract value reached 93.1 billion yuan.

Developments for tourist attractions, infrastructure, public service facilities, hot springs and star hotels will have great importance attached to them.

At the fair, hot spring tourist resorts attracted the attention from many companies and entrepreneurs. Jiangxi province is abundant in hot spring resources with the water temperature, output, quality and reserves ranking among the top over the country. Hot spring tourism has become one of the projects with the fastest growth in Jiangxi.
