Nanchang Binshui Wetland Park to finish construction

The Binshui Wetland Park in the Wangcheng New District of Nanchang will finish construction by the end of next month. It will be another tourism resort for local citizens for leisure and enjoyment.

With a water area of 5.33 hectares, beach area covering 1.33 hectares and greening area reaching 10.67 hectares, the wetland park is positioned as an ecological wetland park with the functions of ecological protection, popularization of science, natural scenery and leisurely enjoyment. The total investment in the park is about 40 million yuan ($6.33 million).

Based on its original geographic and geomorphic conditions, the park will plant more than 130 varieties of aquatic plants including sweet osmanthus, camphora wood, Koelreuteria paniculata, metasequoia, and bulrush.
