From 2012 to 2015, Nanchang will make efforts to develop seven tourism projects. The projects include the extension project of the Pavilion of Prince Teng, the development of Polang Lake's ecological tourism, the Meiling scenic spot development project, reconstruction of the Xiaoping Xiaodao scenic spot, the building of the Tianxiangyuan scenic spot, rural tourism promotion, and the establishment of the Nanchang travel distribution center.

Nanji wetland, which is the largest national wetland nature reserve in the Poyang Lake area, will be developed in 2012 as a tourist attraction with unique characteristics.

This year will see the construction of the Nanchang core tourist shopping circle, connecting the Pavilion of Prince Teng and the Museum of the August 1 Nanchang Uprising. The city also plans to build a Nanchang travel distribution center with the functions of independent traveler transfers, providing information and services while dealing with tourist quality complaints.
