As many as 33 scenic spots will be free to visit on the Dragon Boat Festival, Children's Day and the Double Ninth Festival in Jiujiang of Jiangxi province.

Residents in Jiujiang city can enter these scenic spots for free with valid certificates. The attractions that are involved in this activity include both state-owned and private tourist spots. Karst caves and amusement parks, however, will still charge a ticket price for visit.

The Maweishui scenic spot at the Lushan Mountain and the Guanyin bridge scenic sport in Xingzi county are not included in the 33 free scenic spots like they were in 2011. Baicha Garden in Xiushui county and the Wuling scenic spot are the two newly participating areas for this activity.
