The Jiangxi national development and reform commission has approved a new ticket price for the Jianggangshan scenic spot. The tourist spot plans to carry out a one-ticket system starting May 8, 2012.

The new entrance fee for visiting the spot increases to 160 yuan ($25.39) per person from the current 130 yuan per person. The ticket price may fluctuate during the tourist peak and off season with the highest price reaching 190 yuan per person.

Only one ticket for the spot is valid for 5 days and tourists are accessible to all attractions with it. No separate attractions require an additional ticket fee.

The peak season for the Jinggangshan scenic spot is from Feb 16 to Nov 15 and the off season lasts from Nov 16 to Feb 15. The fluctuated ticket price for both peak and off seasons will be decided upon by the scenic spot administration.

The scenic spot will also abide by the ticket price preferential policy. Seniors above 70 years old and children of or below six years old, servicemen and the disabled will enjoy a free ticket. Juveniles and undergraduate students can pay only half of the total price.
