Flower farmers care for cole flowers in Wuyuan

Flower farmers are busy cleaning ditches and clearing away weeds to lay a good foundation for the harvest of cole flowers in Wuyuan, Shangrao city of Jiangxi province.

Recently, cole flowers have been widely planted in scenic spots and along roads filling an area of 6,666.67 hectares in Wuyuan. The ocean of cole flowers has made local ecotourism prosperous.

During the spring, the golden cole flowers blossom everywhere and attract many tourists. Local people benefit by developing cole flower tourism and providing services for visitors.

The continuous overcast and rainy weather this Spring has given rise to a late bloom of cole flowers in Wuyuan county. To ensure cole harvest for this year, flower farmers in Wuyuan county began to strengthen their field management. With the goal of increasing tourist income, they have cleaned ditches and drained off water in fields to ensure a beautiful scene of golden cole flowers.
