2012 Jiangxi Tourism Supervision and Management Working Conference held in Nanchang

On Feb 28, 2012, the 2012 Jiangxi Tourism Supervision and Management Working Conference was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi province. The meeting reviewed tourism supervision and management work in 2011, analyzed the current situation and arranged key tasks for the work in 2012.

More than one hundred people including leaders of the provincial tourism administration, the tourism quality supervision and Jiangxi tourism association, and representatives from hotels and travel agencies attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Qu Qianna, vice-director of the Jiangxi Tourism Administration.

The conference confirmed the achievements made in 2011 for tourism supervision and management. The main tasks and requirements for 2012 tourism supervision were worked out. Jiangxi will make efforts to promote their tourism industry and will construct the Poyang Lake eco-tourism zone. The province should also give priority to the development of red tourism.

The province's tourism supervision and management work needs to center on the improvement of service quality while standardizing the tourist market order. The publicity and guide to high-quality tourism services should be strengthened. The tourism administration will also pay attention to the building of a tourism supervision team to effectively accomplish all tasks.

Nanchang, Ganzhou, Jingdezhen and Ji'an tourism administrations shared experiences with each other. Advanced units such as travel agencies and star hotels in Jiangxi were awarded at the meeting.
