Lushan east sea scenic area to receive 2 million visitors

The Lushan east sea scenic area has recently set the goal of receiving 2 million visitors in four years, which is twice the amount they receive at present. They are hoping to also declare the scenic area an AAAAA scenic spot.

In order to achieve the goal, the resort will focus on the plan of making "five breakthroughs and one strengthen". "Five breakthroughs" mean the breakthrough of government leading operations, the breakthrough of key construction projects, the breakthrough of infrastructure construction, the breakthrough of official reception conditions and the breakthrough of management innovation. "One strengthen" means strengthening the environmental protection of scenic spots.

From the beginning of 2012, the Lushan scenic area has focused on promoting the "3239" projects. "32" means building Jingkou and Sima into two big tourism towns, building Jingkou and South two docks, and building two high-quality tourism routes. The "39" means promoting nine key projects, such as CITIC and the art garden. It also means promoting nine major reception facilities projects including the Municipal City Hall reception center and the administrative service center. Lastly, it means enhancing the development and upgrading of the nine islands.

In recent years, the developing situation of the Lushan east sea scenic area has been good due to the virtue of its unique tourism resources. Since 2011, the Lushan east sea scenic area has increased its degree of tourism innovation, improved service quality and strengthening multilateral cooperation. According to statistics, during the Spring Festival golden week, the Lushan east sea scenic area received more than 30,000 visitors at home and from abroad. This exhibited an increase of 28.6 percent and gained a ticket income of 2.29 million yuan with a year-on-year growth of 28.5 percent.
