Jiangxi welcomes over 100 million visitors

According to the Tourist Office of Jiangxi Province, in the first eight months of this year, Jiangxi received 111.6143 million tourists, with a year on year increase of 34.41 percent, exceeding the amount of last year. Tourism revenue reached 78.471 billion yuan, up 38.94 percent year on year.

Thanks to several successful tourism promotions, the peak season of tourism comes early this year. Special tourist trains, chartered flights, tourist groups and self-driving tourists poured into Jiangxi province. Nearly 3,000 travel agencies outside Jiangxi province cooperate with Jiangxi tourism enterprises. Tourists visiting Lushan Mountain, Jinggang Mountain and Sanqing Mountain increased sharply as well.
